Mary's Bountiful Harvest

Mary Phiri struggled to grow enough food for her family. The rains were unpredictable, and she didn't know how to conserve water or protect her crops. Through TAF's food security program, Mary learned climate-smart agriculture techniques including water conservation, crop diversification, and composting. She now grows vegetables year-round in her kitchen garden and sells surplus at the local market. Her children are healthier and she can afford their school fees.
